In 1987 Julian, along with Jonathan Hall, established the Millichamp & Hall brand which, quickly became the most sort after and desirable cricket equipment used by club cricketers and test players around the globe. 

In 1994 Millichamp & Hall Australia became part of Puma Australia and, with Julian’s unique skills, was the start of a remarkable success story for what is still today a major force in cricket.

In 2005 Julian embarked on his most challenging enterprise, creating his new brand, Screaming Cat, with the emphasis on his fundamental roots; 100% hand making and grading tailor made cricket bats direct to cricket players.
